Desire’s journey began as that of a struggling young girl whose life was transformed through the support of Light Up Life Foundation. In 2017, she met Beth of WHAT MATTERS, who joined the team sponsoring her childhood needs. Even then, Desire made a promise—to one day use her own life to uplift others. Today, she is living that promise, showing Uganda and the world that dreams truly do come true.
Now a co-founder of Jochebed Foundation Uganda, Desire uses her voice, experience, and platform to empower women and children facing the same hardships she once endured. Together with her beloved “Aunt Beth,” she is launching the pilot campaign for Beth’s “Shout-Out”–themed micro-donation fundraising concept, a powerful initiative built on love, gratitude, and collective action.
